“Fashion for a strong statement”
In this youtube video, wouldyou.direct.gov.uk shows an extreme fashion show taken to another level, to express a strong statement about drinking. At first, you would think the fashion show was just another normal one. Then it went downhill when the first model urinated on the catwalk. The second model vomited, and the next model was really aggressive towards the last model. The core message is for people not to drink. If one does not drink responsibly, it does show. Do you think this video was exaggerated a bit? Is it ok for younger children to see this video? Was it necessary for them to portray models in that manner to send out such a message?

i think it was a great message. models are showing themselves, walking down a runway and completely on display. everyone in the room saw they peed, vomited, and beat up another person. it is telling the viewer that people SEE when you act like an idiot or are affected by too much alcohol, and it is not pretty. it is not attractive… no one wants to see that. the people in the audience even look offended by it. i don’t think the video was exaggerated; i think it was a good representation of a person who drank too much alcohol, and maybe those people will think twice the next time they go to drink so much.

Of course its exagerated No runway show would every honestly do that. As an ad against drinking, it isnt aimed at kids, and I dont think they would understand it. I think they would just think its gross, and ask their parents why the people on tv peed in public. I didnt even get that it was an alcohol commerical till the end. I agree with littledancer completely though, this comerical shows viewers… people are always watching. Are you really going to pee or barf in front of people judging you. Well lets hope not. I really dont think this is the best anti drinking commerical though. When the second model threw up I thought it was about eating disorders. And all those models walked down the runway straight. They werent actually drunk. I get the point but they could have done way better.

even without alcohol.. i bet models will act like that! lol.. judgemental, ya but idc.

girl peeing.. she just had to gooo!!! lol. girl puking… shes a model, shes bulemic, of course shes gonna puke!!! …the guy beating up another guy.. he needs anger management! lol
